Andron Facilities Management has recently selected workforce management software, to manage the firm’s security staff scheduling and control room operations.
Andron decided to bring control room ops in-house, to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. After a market appraisal of what was available including product demonstrations, Logosoft was found to meet requirements with its Roster Manager product with optional Call Manager module.
Logosoft describes its software as a management information system and manpower scheduling tool which gives users access to information. The Call Manager Module is an automatic call logging system for control room operations.
The Call Manager module offers:
•Routine call logging (book-on, book-off and check calls) done automatically, freeing control room staff to deal with any problems as they arise;
•Built-in voice messaging to manage communications between the control room and security officers;
•Validation of incoming caller ID so that Control Room staff are alerted to possible absences from site; and
•an optional call-out feature to alert supervisory staff of potential problems, so that smaller guarding businesses can avoid the overhead of maintaining a control room or using contract services.
