Traka UK at Counter Terror Expo

by Mark Rowe

The key control product company Traka will be among the exhibitors at the 2017 Counter Terror Expo, showing on May 3 and 4 at Olympia, west London its latest products for storing and controlling access to keys and equipment.

Visitors to stand B65 can see how Traka’s products enable an audit trail including who was the last user, when the key or equipment was removed, and when it was returned. The manufacturer says its systems present greater accountability and restrict people from accessing keys to sensitive areas and data-rich equipment such as mobile devices and tablets.

Ben Farrar, Marketing Development Manager of Traka UK says: “The increasing realism of terrorism is a constant reminder that security can never be taken for granted. Whilst there are increasingly sophisticated and complex control systems available, it is very easy to lose sight of the more obvious solutions that can counter terror more personally and effectively.

“Traka systems are designed around enabling process, accountability and restricted access to those who are authorised to ensure optimum key and equipment protection. Without authority, a terrorist may be prevented from gaining access to certain areas of a building, equipment or necessary information to succeed in their objectives.’
