GJD, the UK manufacturers and designers of lighting products, are now offering a range of Clarius Duo LED illuminators.
Available in Infra-Red and White-Light, the Clarius Duo offers image quality for a wide range of sectors, the Lancashire-based makers say. The range is also fitted with an adjustable angle feature, making it suitable it’s claimed for wide and narrow field of view applications, while providing an extra layer of security to external areas.
The product is for protecting residential properties, commercial buildings and industrial sites, as well as rural and isolated areas. All products in the Duo range can be mounted on walls, poles and around corners. And the range is designed with low power consumption, while using minimum energy and so providing cost savings, according to the firm.
The Duo features intelligent universal input switching power supply, with photocell adjust, telemetry and following contacts.

Infra-Red LED illuminators are designed to work with monochrome or day and night cameras, providing a light invisible to the human eye, but visible to the CCTV camera. The Infra-Red Clarius Duo is also the company adds suitable for covert surveillance because the camera can see, but the intruder cannot. It is also excellent for use in sensitive areas where light pollution needs to be at an absolute minimum, such as residential sites.
Clarius Duo LED based White-Light illuminators deliver White-Light for use with colour cameras, making the White-Light Duo a solution to deter potential intruders and offer support in darkened areas such as footpaths and car parks.
The Clarius Duo also comes with a five-year warranty.
