Cover for padlocks

by Mark Rowe

An all-weather cover has been introduced by Squire with its new Stronghold Stormproof SS50 and SS65 CEN grade and LPCB approved padlocks, pictured.

The company says that its distinctive black ‘X’ design cover has been designed to protect the lock body and key cylinder from rain, snow, ice and the sun. It is made of high impact ABS giving the lock resistance against extreme weather, dirt and sand. The covers come in two widths of 50mm and 65mm and are for the eighth generation family-owned lock maker’s Stronghold padlocks, for use at perimeter gates, warehouses, heavy goods vehicles, trailers, doors and garages.

Managing director John Squire says: “These superior quality padlock covers have numerous all-weather applications and they are easy to handle in cold conditions. They reflect our commitment to creating new and innovative products.”
