New from DIGIEVER Corporation, the Taiwanese IP video management product company, are the 16-bay network recorders, the DS-16300-RM Pro+ series and DS-16200-RM Pro+ series.
Those last two are 3U 16-bay rack-mount type Linux-embedded standalone network video recorders with a maximum of 96TB storage capacity, designed for long-term video storage. The new recorders can be expanded up to 144TB by connecting two DIGIARRAY (up to 24TB per DIGIARRAY) products, a storage expansion box, for large-scale surveillance use.
The new NVR series can satisfy monitoring demand on local display monitoring, remote browser monitoring as well as iOS and Android mobile monitoring, the makers say. The products come with exclusive 4K UHD hardware decoding, and support up to 4K UHD IP cameras and allow IP video surveillance on local display. Without installing an extra PC, the new recorders feature a dual-mirror display via HDMI and VGA video connector, which lets users monitor high resolution videos on two monitors. A user can view recorded videos, do video back-up to an external device, and configure recorder settings on a local recorder and remote PC.
The products also feature built-in four digital inputs and two digital outputs. With one NVR, users can configure up to 18 event types and 16 action types. As for video backup, the new series offers seven backup methods for exporting video, such as export with encryption on local and remote playback, while playing back videos, with USB, event FTP and remote backup to NAS.
