The electronic security product distributor Norbain Holdings Ltd has acquired Blue Helix Ltd, a distributor of fibre and copper networking products. Norbain Holdings says that this will add to what the firm already provides to customers through CMS Plc, Detection Supplies and Norbain SD.

Colin Ryall, Managing Director of Blue Helix, says: “We’re delighted to become a part of Norbain Holdings. We share many core values with our new sister companies, including our commitment to providing customers with a fantastic range of products, coupled with industry-leading service and in-depth technical knowledge. This is an extremely positive move for the company and we’re excited by the opportunities this will offer ourselves, our suppliers and our customers.”

And Nigel Palmer, CEO of Norbain Holdings’ parent company, says: “Blue Helix is a highly valued addition to the group. It can now offer customers the most comprehensive range of Fire Detection, IT Infrastructure, Security and Networking Products on the market.”
