RVR integrates with DVR

by Mark Rowe

The monitoring station Remote Video Response (RVR) is integrating with the Concept Pro VXH264 digital video recorder (DVR), which is available exclusively from the trade-only distributor Videcon.

RVR has installed the Immix monitoring software to offer that service to customers. West Yorkshire-based Videcon Marketing Manager Rob Watson says: “Over the past two years we’ve regularly received excellent feedback on the VXH264 DVR for being very easy to install and integrate with remote monitoring stations. This year it’s gone from strength to strength as we’ve integrated it with more and more monitoring stations, and the opportunity to now work with a name like Chubb is another welcome development.”

Colin Walters, General Manager of RVR says: “’That the new technology augments the existing ESSA platform: “Being able to support the extensive range of Videcon technology provides a significant competitive advantage. It means that installers can choose the Videcon device that is most appropriate to their needs, safe in the knowledge that we can support them.”

The firms add that customers buying a VXH264 recorder can connect it to RVR with immediate effect. RVR monitors domestic and commercial premises as a deterrent to crime, as well as it’s claimed cost savings compared with manned guarding.
