Oncam Grandeye, Genetec partner

Oncam Grandeye, the 360-degree CCTV camera firm,announced an integration partnership with Genetec, the IP security video management surveillance (VMS) product company.

This integration will provide customers already using the Genetec Security Centre 5.2 with Oncam Grandeye’s Evolution range of cameras. George Maroussis, technology alliance manager at Genetec, said: “Oncam Grandeye enables retrospective analysis of an entire scene, thus providing complete situational awareness with 360-degree technology. Oncam Grandeye, being leaders in the development and deployment of 360-degree technology, provide a great fit to the Genetec offering. We are pleased to be working closer with them now, and are looking forward to seeing the partnership bloom while the technology grows.”

And Greg Alcorn, senior vice president of business development at Oncam Grandeye, said: “Genetec has always been a leader in the development of world-class security solutions, and so it was natural for us to come together to provide them cutting-edge technology with situational awareness like never before,. It’s exciting to have completed this integration with Genetec and already, since the launch only a few months ago, we’ve seen major projects including an international airport in the UK, and a school district in the Americas.”

The combined technology will be demonstrated in the US, at Las Vegas at G2E, in the Renaissance Suite at the Venetian, from 10 am to 5 pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, September 24-25.
