Milestone sales chief

Milestone Systems, the Danish IP video management software (VMS) product company, announced Kenneth Hune Petersen as the new Chief Sales & Marketing Officer. He will be based at the firm’s headquarters in Denmark and as a member of the Executive Management Team will report directly to CEO Lars Thinggaard.

For the last 17 years Petersen has worked with SimCorp, with his most recent position being Senior Vice President, Head of Global Sales. He was responsible for sales leadership to develop the Nordic region and also spent ten years in the United States building up the Americas business unit for SimCorp. He has a Master of Science degree in Economics from Copenhagen University.

Lars Thinggaard said: “Kenneth is inspiring and passionate about leadership and building business. He will be a great addition to continue expanding our activities that have defined Milestone as a powerful sales and marketing organization. Our reputation has come from constantly fostering innovative solutions to meet our customers’ needs, and we have continually raised the bar in our industry for collaboration. Together we will continue to grow our business profitably, and Kenneth’s job is to accelerate this growth through his leadership and strengths as a sparring partner and coach. He will help us continue in our role as bridge builder between our customers and technology.”
