Integrated Systems

Lodge Service at IFSEC 2017

by Mark Rowe

Security, facilities and logistics managers can remotely monitor and control a range of systems across sites through Lodge Service’s Lodgic intelligence network, says the security contractor, which is exhibiting at stand C1030 at the IFSEC 2017 exhibition, which runs this year from Tuesday to Thursday, June 20 to 22, at Excel in London Docklands.

Applications according to the company range from a new ‘conflict management’ system to remotely monitor and protect staff from assault, to alarm response and HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning). Lodge Service says that the Lodgic network cuts operational costs for loss prevention and facility management by up to half. This is achieved the firm says through opportunities to reduce staffing on site and efficiencies in managing services 24-7 such as lighting and refrigeration.

The ARC (Alarm Receiving Centre) can despatch and manage on-site security, repair and maintenance teams in response to alarms, protect sites and minimise operational downtime. The intelligence network includes two-way communication for alarm signal verification and reporting, as well as GPS tracking and remote access control.

The Lodgic team at IFSEC will be answering visitor questions on connectivity, compatibility and testing. Almost any web-enabled system or service can be supported by the network, the contract company says, with real-time monitoring and alerts to a smartphone, tablet or other selected device. The intelligence network combines the control of on-site systems with options for additional services such as manned guarding, investigations, staff screening and other personnel services through a single source.
