by msecadm4921

n the last 12 months, a security contractor reports that it has raised thousands of pounds for charity.  The company Magenta Security, which has operations in London, Birmingham, Kent, Middlesex, Swindon and Manchester, supports a variety of causes in Africa, India and the UK.  Managing Director Abbey Petkar says: “Supporting charities, at home and abroad, is central to our corporate social responsibility strategy. Business is not just about being successful but also about giving something back in the hope it makes a better society for all of us to live in.”

In Africa, Magenta has been involved in water well projects, and in India it sponsors a school for blind children. Closer to home the firm has been involved in a variety of projects, including a road safety campaign which provides board games to hundreds of schools to make sure children are aware of the risks on the road.

He adds: “I think it is important to support charities, not just in the UK but around the world. By supporting these causes we are helping people improve the way they live, and we will continue to support these and other projects as we look to increase the amount of charitable work we do.”
