Tweedie Brown joins GMS Group

The GMS Group of Companies has appointed Tweedie Brown CBE as Senior Business Advisor. Tweedie, pictured, is the third director to join the Midlands-based company since 2018. After a career in the British Army, leaving as Brigadier General in 2004, Tweedie has spent the last 14 years working in the commercial defence, energy, property and tech sectors.

He joins GMS to support the property division, bringing knowledge and experience, most recently as Managing Director of the Property Search Group plc, Tweedie is Chairman of several organisations including the Guild of Letting and Management, Caridon Property Ltd, Exemplar Ltd custom-build passive housing and is heavily involved in The ESTAS (Estate and Letting Agent of the Year Awards).

Neil Male, CEO said: “I am delighted to welcome Tweedie on board, his wide-ranging skills and experience will further strengthen our team.”

Tweedie said: “I am really pleased to join the GMS board at this exciting time in the development of the company and look forward to supporting its continuing growth.”
