Sukhi Ghuman, the founder of Nottingham-based security firm Octavian Security, has been appointed as a director of mobile telecommunications provider Scancom.
After working with Octavian over the past five years, the Scancom board approached Sukhi Ghuman, pictured, for the position. His role will be to develop new business links and to open new opportunities and markets for the Leicester-based company. The Nottingham-born entrepreneur will be working with his business networks in the UK and USA to increase Scancom’s market share.
Sukhi said that he was attracted to the business because of its similarities to Octavian. He said: “Scancom is already a very strong company.
