NSI Gold standard

by Mark Rowe

A lone worker protection service provider has been awarded National Security inspectorate (NSI) Guarding Gold standard for its subsidiary brands.

After an audit, the award certifies that Skyguard and Guardian24 are working to the highest standards of both product and service provision, says Send for Help Group.

Previously, Skyguard and Guardian24 had held the NSI Guarding Silver award which audits against lone worker sector standards, such as the British Standard BS 8484:2011. Gold was achieved after the company’s Quality Management System surpassed BS EN ISO 9001 requirements besides the ‘Silver’ standards already met.

Skyguard’s purpose-built, UK-based 24-hour Incident Management Centre had already achieved the ‘Gold’ award for Alarm Receiving Centres in 2009, as it was the first in the UK to be audited to BS 8484.
The NSI Gold accreditation has been awarded to both subsidiary companies.

James Murray, pictured, Send for Help Group’s Chief Executive, said: “Achieving NSI Gold demonstrates the high levels of quality and commitment we have to our customers. Now, both Skyguard and Guardian24 are covered by the NSI’s top accolade and along with the coveted ‘Secured by Design’ product preferred specification on our lone worker alarms and Incident Management Centre, there’s no higher accredited lone worker safety service in the UK.”
