Group Commercial Director

by Mark Rowe

Cordant Group PLC, the facilities services and recruitment business, has appointed Jamie Reynolds to a newly created position of Group Commercial Director.

Reporting directly to CEO Chris Kenneally, Jamie will manage a central sales team of 30 people responsible for developing services across all major sectors.

As part of his new remit Jamie, pictured, will also identify further synergies across the business, particularly looking at integrated outsourcing using what the north London company’s calls its key foundations of people, process and technology.

He will continue to head the company’s Sales Academy which was set up earlier this year, following a £1m investment, and is designed to attract new people into the sector and help them to develop into the business leaders of tomorrow. Jamie has over 20 years experience within the service industry and has held a number of senior commercial and management roles. These include the position of CEO at GSH Group and Group Development Director at Initial Facilities. He joined Cordant Services in December 2014 and was promoted to his Group role earlier this month.

And Chris Kenneally, CEO at Cordant Group PLC, said: “The past 12 months have seen significant changes within our business designed to ensure and drive the future success of the Group. Jamie’s appointment will enable us to continue to build on the phenomenal growth we are undergoing across the board. It also gives us the opportunity to look at developing opportunities by aligning our £320 million managed service business, PMP with the £160m Cordant Services business, to offer cost effective, integrated outsourcing solutions.”
