Plymouth-based Securi-Guard has joined the rural trade body the Country Land and Business Association.
Membership will mean that Securi-Guard, which serves a number of rural and agricultural clients in the Westcountry, will be able to further develop links with the rural economy.
Country Land and Business Association (CLA) is a membership organisation for owners of land, property and businesses in rural England and Wales.
Agriculture is an important part of the economy in many areas of the South West. Securi-Guard says that over the last few years, rural businesses across Devon and Cornwall are becoming increasingly concerned with security and ensuring assets are properly protected.
Isolated properties and farm buildings are increasingly at risk of theft and the police are regularly advising that agricultural machinery and storage facilities for heating oil are as secure as possible.
Mark Tapper, Business Development Manager at Securi-Guard Fire and Security, says: “Securi-Guard is delighted to have recently become a part of the CLA and the fact that we are the first security business in the South West to do so really strengthens our position as the leading fire and security specialist in the region.
“Our membership is good news for the many rural businesses we provide security services for as through it, we will be able to access a wealth of experience and expertise on rural issues. We can utilise this to develop our engagement and support of rural businesses and their communities.” Visit: www.securi-guard.co.uk
