Account manager

by Mark Rowe

The data security company, Digital Pathways, has announced two new appointments. Colin Rumsan has joined the company as Account Manager. He comes to the data management product company from the Metropolitan Police, which he joined in 2003, and latterly served in the Counter Terrorism Command as an Intelligence Manager.

Colin brings experience to the company in cyber forensics. Given the rate of growth in cyber-crime, his knowledge and skill will be an invaluable tool for clients who are focused on the protection of their data, says Digital Pathways.

Paul Smith, pictured, is a security architect who will work across all of the Digital Pathways products and services. Paul has a specialism in the installation, provision and delivery of pre/post services to customers who are using or deploying the Vormetric data at rest encryption solution. He joins from Intamac Systems where he was Assistant IT Infrastructure Manager/Senior System Engineer.

Colin Tankard, Managing Director, Digital Pathways, says: “These appointments help to cement the quality offering our clients have come to expect from us. Both Colin and Paul are senior level acquisitions and both have a wealth of professional knowledge, skill and experience. I know they will help to strengthen our skill base, enhance the service we offer our clients and help to grow our company further going into 2017.”
