The distribution company Oprema has appointed Michael O’Neill as Senior Marketing Manager.

Michael, pictured, is a CIM accredited marketer, with nine years’ experience spanning B2B, B2C and not for profit sectors. Michael began at Energy World and has since held roles at Inspire Sport, Peter O’Neill Services, Under Armour Performance Mouthwear and most recently Brickfab Ltd., where he held the position of Marketing and Product Development Manager for two and a half years.

Michael will be responsible for understanding customers and providing relevant and value-adding communications across all touch-points. He said: “It’s great to have joined Oprema at such an exciting time of growth for the company. My core task is to devise and implement a marketing strategy that is focussed on customer engagement, with the aim of giving Oprema edge over its competitors. Oprema’s customer focus and continuous improvement approach provided a very attractive opportunity for me, and a perfect fit for both my personal and professional development aspirations. I am excited to be part of the team responsible for taking Oprema to the next level.”

And Matthew Epps, Managing Director at Oprema, said: “Michael is new to the security industry, but is experienced in B2B marketing across other sectors and is a proven strategic thinker with a track record of high performance.
