The consultancy Global MSC Security has opened registrations for the Global MSC Security Conference and Exhibition 2020. The annual event will focus on helping control room operators to realise the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Analytics in Video Surveillance. The exhibition opens on Monday, November 9, with the conference on Tuesday, November 10, at the Bristol Hotel in Bristol city centre.
Managing Director of Global MSC Security, Derek Maltby says: “The rate of innovation in security technology makes it a challenge to fully understand what is available on the market, as well as if and how it should be applied. What’s more, with cameras and systems becoming ever more feature rich, with the inclusion of AI and analytics functions often now coming as standard, many control room operators are unaware as to the potential of the tools at their disposal.
“This year we will be looking at the latest technologies and trends, providing guidance around what is and isn’t permissible, particularly in reference to facial recognition, and focusing on how we can help operators at the coalface of video surveillance to use these systems to their fullest extent.”
Aimed at end-users, law enforcement, policy-makers, consultants, manufacturers and suppliers, the forum has Genetec returning as the headline sponsor for 2020. Its Marketing Manager, UK and Ireland, Kirsty Rankin, says: “Global MSC’s Conference & Exhibition brings together end-users, consultants and suppliers from across the industry. With such a strong delegate list, Genetec has continued to be the headline sponsor for the exhibition across multiple years to reach our target audience. We’ve been able to engage in conversations with high profile security professionals to discuss the biggest topics facing our industry.”
Also supporting the show are Synectics, Bosch, 360 Vision, Milestone Systems and DSSL Group. Delegate registration and a number of exhibition stand bookings are available now at: www.globalmsc.net/seminars.
