SELECT award night

by Mark Rowe

Invincible Fire and Security, of Ardrossan, took the Best Delivery of Customer Service award at a ceremony hosted by SELECT, the Scottish trade association for the electrotechnical sector.

Invincible, which was established 20 years ago, serves local authorities, housing associations, nursing homes, the NHS and thousands of small businesses and residential customers.

Darrell Matthews, SELECT Managing Director, said: “The electrical sector is increasingly complex, and its practitioners are highly-skilled technicians who work at the cutting edge of technology. But to succeed, companies must always remember that the interests of the customer are paramount and this innovative company has demonstrated a firm commitment to its clients’ needs.

“This SELECT member has learnt lessons from past issues in customer care and has worked very hard to turn these round so that all existing and new customers now enjoy a first-class service.”

The award was presented by Neil Kelly, of award sponsor MacRoberts Solicitors, at the Radisson Blu in the centre of Glasgow on Friday night, October 12. The evening was hosted by Shereen Nanjiani, the Scottish radio and television personality. Attending was a wide range of companies, from major electrical enterprises to local firms.

Invincible Fire and Security employs a local workforce which is in tune with its customers and trains them to the highest possible standards.

Alan Wilson, Head of Membership and Communications at SELECT, said: “This award goes to an innovative member company which really has thought about its customers in its approach to doing business. It is by delivering exceptional customer service that our member companies can ensure they stand out from the crowd and, importantly, secure that vital repeat business.”
