Mersey work

by Mark Rowe

AinsCo Fire & Security in its quarter one figures for the financial year reports new project wins and continued work across sectors. The Wirral-based company reports a 40 per cent rise in profits compared to 12 months ago.

The installer says that it’s finalising surveys on five Merseyrail stations, in preparation for a roll out of new fire alarms on stations, with work due to last for the next three years. This work was carried out with UK construction and regeneration group, Morgan Sindall. The installation firm has also received an order to deliver fire alarms, access control and CCTV on the upper ground floor at a multi-storey city centre property, alongside mechanical, electrical and construction specialists, Senate Group.

Mike Ainscough, managing director at AinsCo Fire & Security, said: “I am delighted with the positive start that we have had to our financial year despite the on-going crisis. I believe the increase in work is a representation of the team’s dedication to delivering to the highest standards for our customers, which translates to them returning to AinsCo for future projects.

“This positive start means we are on track for a record breaking year and allows us to introduce new roles within the business for young people across the Liverpool City Region.”

The family-run 15-year-old company has done work in schools and educational facilities across the Liverpool region, such as installation of new fire and security systems at St Edward’s College. The firm has completed work installing fire, intruder, access control and CCTV systems at the Honeywell distribution centre in Ellesmere Port. Visit https://ainscofiresecurity.com/.
