At the fire and security installer Amthal, Mick Byron has become Business Development Manager, a new role within the St Albans-based company. Mick, pictured, will coordinate and develop channels and relationships.

He says: “I am truly delighted to take on this new pivotal role. I am confident that I can support Amthal’s ambitious growth plans, and to guide, support and steer the business development as the company continues to extend its customer base and market share.

“My remit is to take responsibility for developing sales strategies, seeking and creating new opportunities and providing greater support for existing clients on a national scale. I have enjoyed the hands-on training provided and there is a great team spirit. I look forward to tackling the challenges ahead to take the company to the next level.”

Mick has worked in the industry for some 48 years, including Sales and Account Director roles for national brands as Chubb and ADT. Most recently he has been Sales Manager at Mercury Security Systems.

Jamie Allam, Amthal’s Commercial Director adds: “This is a great opportunity for Mick to continue to drive growth and progress within our business, working closely with the management team, sales and commercial divisions to help shape the future of Amthal.

“We are committed to truly understand and meet the needs of each of our customers by working closely together to build established and long-lasting relationships. Mick brings a wealth of product and industry knowledge with him, which will be invaluable to achieve this ambition, as per our core company mission, vision and values.”
