Brink’s at Transport Security Expo

by Mark Rowe

The cash in transit (CIT) contractor Brink’s will team up with Transport Security Expo 2014 for the launch of the event’s first dedicated conference for secure transportation. Transport Security Expo (TRS) hosts its first conference day for the secure transportation market on December 3.

As part of its support for a day of supply chain and logistics security presentations, Director of Security and Cash Centres for Brink’s Phil Wright will address the securing of cash and valuables in transit. Wright said: “The new conference promises to be an important event exploring best practice in the secure transportation/CVIT sector, and is a very welcome addition to the already strong content line-up. Brink’s will have a major presence at Transport Security Expo this year and our partnership with the Secure Transportation Conference reflects the leading role Brink’s plays in the sector and the introduction of this timely new focus within the event is a very welcome initiative.”

Head of TRS 2014 organiser Nineteen Events Peter Jones added: “A great deal of industry research and advice from prominent members of the transport security world has been formulated into a collection of world-class speakers for the Secure Transportation Conference and finding the perfect partner for the launch of the new conference was essential and Brink’s is certainly that. We’re proud to have them onboard.”

Confirmed TRS 2014 exhibitors from the secure transportation sector include ASL Group, CIT, ACME Seals and Envotech. Visit http://www.transec.com/conferences/paid-secure-transportation-conference/.
