South west show

by Mark Rowe

Exeter is the venue for a trade exhibition of fire and security products and services, on Wednesday, October 4, from 9.30am to 5pm. Jointly organised by Plymouth-based Securi-Guard and its sister company LogiScan, based near Taunton, it’s running at Exeter Chiefs rugby stadium at Sandy Park.

The event – now in its third year – covers CCTV and surveillance equipment, access control systems, fire suppression products, monitoring and alarm signalling services. Among the exhibitors will be Hochiki, a systems partner with Securi-Guard for its fire detectors and alarms, lone worker devices specialist Blackline, which also partners with Securi-Guard, and Grosvenor Technology, an access control solutions company.

The event is also being supported by Devon Chamber of Commerce, which has been promoting it to its membership base and will be hosting its own display stand on the day.

Scott Boyd, Managing Director, Securi-Guard Fire and Security, said such was the success of last year’s event at the Exeter Chiefs ground, he had no hesitation in repeating it. “This year we have been able to attract even more key industry manufacturers and suppliers who recognise the value an event like this offers as a platform to promote their products and services. The expo will provide a unique shop window for some of the finest fire and security technology currently available from major brand names who are real leaders in their respective fields.”
