Occupational standards bid success

Skills for Security have been successful in the first of two government funding bids for the development and review of some National Occupational Standards (NOS) to be done during 2014.

New standards to be developed are in Mail Room Security and Securing Void Properties (pictured). And to be reviewed by the Worcester-based skills body are:

Review of CCTV Operations NOS (Licensed sector)
Review of Investigations NOS (New licensed sector)
Review of Precognition Officers NOS (Scotland only)
Review of Keyholding and Response NOS (Licensed sector)
Review of Security Dog Handling NOS
Review of Mechanical Fire Protection NOS
Review of Security and Loss Prevention NOS (Licensed sector).
