Course for SCADA, DCS engineers

by Mark Rowe

Tellemachus, a UK supplier of IP security training courses to law enforcers are running an entry-level five-day training course to provide a basic introduction to the Internet Protocol (IP) and the use of IP enabled equipment for SCADA and DCS systems.

The trainers say this course has been produced to address the training needs of all SCADA, DCS and IT technical personnel involved in designing, building and supporting SCADA and DCS systems using IP networks. The course is delivered as a mixture of theory and hands-on practical exercises with courses due from early spring 2014.
