Authorised partner

by Mark Rowe

Oprema, the Cardiff-based Dahua distributor, has recently become re-certified as an Authorised Dahua Training Partner, after being established as the first Dahua training centre in the UK over two years ago.

The distribution company reports that it has been working with Chris Flavelle, Technical Support Engineer at Dahua UK and is delighted at the roll out of the new ‘Solution Partner Training’ programme. The firms say that the new course is tailored around installers’ needs, with many of the sales elements being removed from the previous course and replaced with a more hands-on approach. The course’s target audience is installation companies new to Dahua products, and IP CCTV or companies looking for a refresher course.

Tim Duggan, Technical Director at Oprema says: “The new course content builds upon on our previously held ‘Basic Dahua Training’ programme, which was the first certified Dahua training course in the UK. Over the past few years we have successfully trained over 500 installers throughout the UK and Europe and look forward to continually developing the programme over the coming months.”

The distributor says it will continue working with Dahua to release a further two certified training courses, to target CPD sales and project engineers. Dates for future courses at the new training facility in Oprema HQ will be posted on the company website shortly at www.oprema.co.uk.
