ASIS UK in regions

by Mark Rowe

ASIS UK usually holds its quarterly meetings in London; but it also holds events outside the capital. For instance on January 14 it’s running a breakfast briefing in Edinburgh.

Invited speakers are Chief Inspector Ronnie Megaughin, Deputy Director to the Scottish Business Resilience Centre, talking about a joint approach to tackling crime by Police Scotland and businesses; and Harry Watters, himself a former senior Scottish policeman, now Head of Physical and Supply Chain Security and Business Continuity at Diageo, the event’s host. It’s free to attend at the drinks brand’s offices at Lochside Way, EH12 9DT; but you are asked to register at [email protected].

The security management association also plans events at the Ramside Hotel and Golf Club, Durham, on February 8; and in Northern Ireland, at The Island, Lisburn, on March 11.
