SSR Personnel, the specialist security recruitment consultancy, was awarded the Security Recruitment Consultancy of the Year at the 2012 Security Excellence Awards which were held in London on 17 October.
The recruitment consultancy, that specialises in sourcing permanent, interim and temporary personnel in the security, fire, engineering, IT, and health and safety sectors, beat off global competition to win the specialist award.
The Award was presented “to the recruitment consultancy that has demonstrated the highest levels of professionalism in dealing with client organisations and potential appointees for security-specific roles across all of the major business sectors”.
Judges were looking for evidence of areas of specialisms in the security arena, staff development, and compliance with quality management systems like ISO, commitment to pro bono work, and client testimonials as part of the awards process. They were unanimous in their praise for the leading position SSR Personnel holds in such a diverse global sector as security recruitment.
Peter French MBE set up SSR Personnel in 1986 and is now part of the Pertemps Network Group. He, and fellow directors Jeff Johnson and Yasmeen Stratton, received the award at the London Hilton Hotel in Park Lane.
