IFSEC at Summit

by Mark Rowe

The security event IFSEC International is to take part at the Global Resilience Summit, in London on October 15 and 16, 2015. The summit over one-and-a-half days aims to inspire thinking around all aspects of security and resilience within cities.

With more than half of the world’s population living in urban areas and this figure predicted to grow to two-thirds by 2050 there are a number of security and resilience challenges, say the summit organisers. IFSEC will provide details of its new Smart Buildings and Home Automation Zone, launching at the 2016 IFSEC event in London. Products and solutions that support buildings, cities and automated homes will be demonstrated. Each area will explore how security solutions can be inter-connected and inter-operable to play a role in providing stronger resilience, security and a safer future.

Gerry Dunphy, Event Director- IFSEC International said: “We are really looking forward to being part of the Global Resilience Summit this year, we are increasingly seeing the integration of smart technologies across all our exhibitors at IFSEC International with security professionals looking at how all these systems can work together to enhance security offerings and create safer cities.”

Summit visitors can find out more about IFSEC and the new ‘Smart Security’ zone at their stand 14; visit www.ifsecglobal.com.
