Norwich is the venue for a Regional Community Safety Conference titled: The Challenge of Multi-Agency Working – Problem Solving in Partnership.
It runs on Tuesday, October 14, from 10am to 4:30pm.
As neighbourhood policing becomes increasingly established it is clear, organisers say, that it represents a fundamental shift in the relationships between communities and how they are policed. At the heart of this relationship is effective community engagement leading to tackling the priorities that they identify. Many of the priorities that affect people’s feelings of safety and impact on the quality of life require multi-agency responses, ideally supported by community involvement.
