by msecadm4921

Radio Tactics Ltd, a provider of mobile phone forensics equipment today announces the launch of Aceso v5.

The Aceso v5 is an upgrade to the Radio Tactics Aceso device, which enables users from government and law enforcement agencies as well as the corporate sector to recover evidence from mobile phone handsets, SIM cards and media cards. This evidence can be used directly in a prosecution or as intelligence to assist an ongoing enquiry. The Aceso enables fast extraction of data from a mobile phone by a user with minimal training, allowing forensic experts to focus their time on more specialist areas.

The Aceso product; developed, designed, built and distributed by Radio Tactics is the makers say used in the corporate sector and by police forces around the world in solving crime and preventing fraud.

Features include –

Detailed information on 2,800 handsets and the data that can be extracted from them, including support for popular handsets such as the iPhone 3GS

Facility for exploitation of handsets without a SIM card

Improved speed of acquisition through streamlined user interface and increased control over file types to obtain, avoiding downloading files with no evidential value.

Paul Martin, Radio Tactics COO said: “Currently police forces, government agencies and corporate companies in the UK and overseas are using Radio Tactics’ Aceso technology. In 2010 we plan to expand the number of Aceso units in each police force, enabling each borough to bring mobile phone forensic examination out of the laboratory and to the front line. The Aceso device plays a critical role as it enables high-tech crime specialists to focus their time on emerging and complex areas. The efficiency of the Aceso also benefits the general public as the police are able to return mobile phones to victims of crime in minutes rather than months.”
