Following its launch at IFSEC 2007, Emizon 21 – a secure, managed messaging service – reports that it has passed its latest milestone.
Emizon 21 now has more than 2,000 units in distribution, making it, the firm claims, already the largest IP security signalling service deploying in the UK. The company has also completed its first connections in the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands. Over 50 installers are now active users of the Emizon 21 service, according to the firm. They are taking advantage of its ease of installation and capitalising on the improved functionality, flexibility and cost effectiveness offered by Emizon’s solution to secure IP monitoring, that still maintains, and often improves on, the security standards associated with ‘traditional‘ dual path signalling services.
According to the firm, a steadily increasing number of Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) have been quick to realise the benefits: three of the major ARCs are working specifically with the firm to promote the service in a series of ‘launch’ events over the next eight weeks, including Securi-Guard, EMCS and Southern Monitoring. Abel, Custodian Monitoring Services, National Monitoring, UK Monitoring have already gone ‘live’, and three further ARCs are due to announce their support shortly.
