TelGuard, the telephone based access entry systems manufacturer offer a new generation of entry systems which feature a LCD display and backlit keypad, the TelGuard Millennium. The new unit has a scroll facility enabling users to scroll through the apartment numbers or business names to access the right occupant. With full alphanumeric capability, the system is easy to use and can be programmed to suit individual needs. Features of the TelGuard Millennium include a 1,000 16-digit telephone number memory, secondary number dial facility and a coded entry with up to 240 individually assigned PIN codes. Other options include trades button and CCTV interface. The system is PSTN/PABX compatible and has five relays as standard. Only a telephone point and power supply is needed to operate the TelGuard system. When visitors enter the apartment number of the keypad, the unit speed dials the occupant?s telephone number.
