The AMG solution transmits signals from around 360 cameras and the Access Control system – as well as other facilities – also transmitted on the backbone. The project is unusual in the sense that it requires all CCTV camera signals to be received at multiple, redundant Control Rooms. AMG’s innovative ‘add, drop and pass’ facility on the 4700 series allows signals to be dropped off at multiple locations without duplicating transmitters. This sophisticated and unique approach significantly reduces hardware and infrastructure costs.”
