GJD at ST18 Ireland

by Mark Rowe

GJD, the UK manufacturer, designer and supplier of external detector equipment, and Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators, is among the exhibitors at ST18 Ireland on Wednesday, September 5 at the Red Cow Moran Hotel, Dublin. At the latest Security TWENTY conference-exhibition by Professional Security magazine, GJD will showcase its new ATEX Approved Infra-Red Beam Set, plus its full range of external motion detectors, IP enabled sensors, lasers and LED illuminators.

The ATEX approved Infra-Red Beam (GS100) allows engineers to protect hazardous areas. The beam is designed to be used with alarm annunciation equipment, besides devices that provide a means of monitoring the voltage free relay alarm output, for example CCTV integration. The technology is range programmable up to 100m and is suitable the makers say for use within the petrochemical and oil sectors, including similar industries where flame, weather, dust or gas explosion proof housings are required.

Carl Fletcher, GJD’s Sales Manager said: “After a successful event last year, we are looking forward to welcoming visitors to our stand and showcasing our new technology.”

Visitors to the GJD stand will also see the IPAnything Module (IPA). The IPAnything is an input/output controller, which converts any type of analogue sensor to an IP system, or vice versa. By using the IPA, a building can be turned into a smart IP system without having to spend time and money upgrading analogue products.

Clarius PLUS Infra-Red and White-Light LED illuminators will also be on display. Clarius lighting provides even illumination for CCTV cameras. Clarius is also available as IP and PoE versions, which provides smart lighting and can be easily integrated into a networked system.

Register in advance and you will be able to attend the conference for free; visitors also can get a free bacon sandwich (for the early arrivals before 9am), mid-morning tea and biscuits, and hot buffet lunch.
