Armed Forces Covenant

by Mark Rowe

The consultancy The Inkerman Group – named after a battle in the Crimean War – has signed the Armed Forces Covenant. As signed by various public and private sector bodies, it’s a pledge to acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve.

A focus is on helping members of the armed forces community, by supporting them in education and family well-being, accommodation, starting a new career, access to healthcare and financial assistance.

Gerald Moor, Inkerman CEO, is a British Army veteran. He says: “Many staff here at The Inkerman Group, both current and previous, started their careers in the armed forces so supporting serving personnel, service leavers, veterans, and their families in this way is a matter which is close to our business and our corporate modus operandi. We are immensely proud and humbled to show our support by signing this pledge and working alongside the Armed Forces Covenant organisation.”

About the firm

The Inkerman Group provides a range of services to clients on an international basis, such as business risk support, travel safety services, operational support and investigations – backed by their 24/7 Joint Operations Centre intelligence personnel.
