Lancashire dinner

by Mark Rowe

LANPAC (Lancashire Partnership Against Crime) annual dinner on March 28 is hosted by chairman, former England footballer and broadcaster Jimmy Armfield CBE DL and is one of the foremost events in Lancashire’s social calendar.

The 2013 dinner raised over £7,500 to further the partnership’s work in crime prevention and the reduction of anti-social behaviour throughout Lancashire. The partnership reports a steady rise in the number of calls for help from local police officers and greater demands for services than at any time, so fund-raising becomes ever more important. Last year we allocated more than £85,000 to over 150 projects, all designed at finding local solutions to local problems.

If you wish to reserve a table for the event, contact the LANPAC office, based in the Corporate Development Department at Lancashire Constabulary headquarters, Preston. Visit http://www.lanpac.co.uk
