IFPO, the International Foundation of Protection Officers, are continuing to expand in the UK and will shortly be announcing their first Corporate Member, says their UK representative, Mike Hurst CPP.
Mike, pictured, says interest in the Certification Programme, especially the CPO (Certified Protection Officer) is growing as well and an application has been made to join the UK Security Commonwealth, the umbrella body for security groups and associations in the UK.
Mike says: “We are looking at opportunities to further promote the Foundation at UK events starting in 2020, but IFPO will have a stand at the industry’s flagship event, GSX (www.gsx.org) in Chicago, September 8 to 12. We know that many UK security professionals will be attending and would invite them to visit the stand and meet the team.”
