Company dance for charity

by Mark Rowe

The 15th Worshipful Company of Security Professionals (WCoSP) Spring Dance in aid of Company charities is running on Saturday, March 4, 2017, supported by Kings Security.

The event will be held at the same west London venue as in previous years, the Rembrandt Hotel. Proceeds from the evening auction will be donated to the WCoSP Charitable Trust and the Security Benevolent Fund which support men and women that have been employed in the private security industry. Organiser and a former Master of the Company Peter French, pictured, said: “We are seeing increasing demand for funding applications that makes a critical difference to people’s lives, which is why we believe in the SBF with some passion and need your individual or corporate support. We will also be raising funds for the Hackney Carriage Drivers Disney Trip for terminally ill children. WCoSP support now pays for four children with their parents and nurses to make this end of life trip for some amazing young people.

“We shall be holding an auction and raffle during the evening. If you are able to donate items of memorabilia or perhaps experiences others could not otherwise buy, you will make a difference. This could be private tours of art works, corporate dining, always popular, or event tickets. If you can think of any other ways of raising money or you could encourage others to donate items of memorabilia or perhaps experiences others could not otherwise buy, please let me know.”
