Pelco by Schneider Electric have integrated their VideoXpert video management software (VMS) with savVi, Agent Vi’s video analytics.
The integration allows the savVi’s analytics on every camera connected to the video system through VideoXpert. Integration with the VideoXpert Ops Center Client allows for event management of real-time detections and alerts. This includes event notification, simplified configuration and triggered recording.

With VideoXpert a user can tag cameras for recall, create and share playlists, and customise their workspaces to make more efficient use of time focusing on the tasks most relevant the product developers say. The manufacturers point to an open architecture for a variety of integration options. While traditional integration is still possible, the new platform can integrate with other physical security systems and building systems to deliver situational awareness. And, the VideoXpert Ops Center client supports modular plug-ins.
Agent Vi plug-ins for VideoXpert will be available for download by Pelco customers on the Partner First website as part of Pelco’s Partner First.
