CESG, the information Security arm of GCHQ launched last month its Certified Cyber Security Consultancy. Officials call this a new approach to help Government, the wider public sector and industry get the right cyber security consultancy services to help them protect their information and to do business online safely. Certified Cyber Security Consultancy will provide a pool of consultancy services, delivered by companies and evaluated by CESG.
CESG says that it has set the standard for ‘what good looks like’ for cyber security consultancy and will evaluate companies against this standard. Companies certified will offer cyber security consultancy with CESG’s endorsement.
CESG says that it welcomes applications from companies of all sizes – from micro to multi-nationals.
