Y3K, the UK manufacturer and distributor of CCTV products, has appointed Marco Marzano as International Sales Director. Marzano’s remit will be Y3K and its group subsidiaries, Xvision, IQCCTV and SmartWitness, within the EMEA region.

Y3K’s CEO Paul Singh said: “We are delighted to have secured the appointment of Marco to help us develop our export business. He speaks fluent French, Spanish, Italian and English, which can only add value to our existing sales team. We’ve a range of new products being launched this autumn at prices that will be a real game-changer for the security industry, both in the UK and overseas, so Marco’s appointment is perfect timing for us. ”

For the past five years, Marzano has been sales manager for Spanish access control manufacturer, Openers and Closers. Previously, he was account manager at UBM, working on the IFSEC security shows.

Marzano said: “I am delighted to join Y3K at such a pivotal time as the company strengthens its line-up of security products. I am convinced that Y3K’s aggressive pricing strategy for its range of high-definition CCTV cameras will open up new opportunities for me in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.”
