Video workstations

by msecadm4921

BCDVideo announced their newest workstation platforms based upon Intel’s new Sandy Bridge E5 family of Xeon processors.

BCDVideo is a Global HP OEM partner and these products are based upon HP’s new Z420 series workstations. In addition to sizes ranging from 2TB to 12TB, a number of models now have RAID 5 technology, which was unavailable in earlier models. These units are available in both tower and rack configurations. The BCD420V, BCD620V, and BCD820V series of video workstations all offer multiple configuration options that support a range of high-performance Intel Xeon E5 processors with four, six, or eight cores, and from 1GB to 8GB of video RAM. Among the Client Viewing Stations just released are the BCD820V-CWP-12D-8G, for 12-monitors, running on twin Intel Xeon E5-2650 eight-core processors and the BCD420V-CWS-6D-2G, capable of supporting six monitors. Backed by HP on-site service, these new products offer a five-year on-site warranty on the video servers, and a three-year on-site warranty on the Client Viewing Stations.
