Vemotion in Paris

by Mark Rowe

The UK wireless video transmission product company Vemotion will be attending Expoprotection in Paris from November 7 to 9, alongside new reseller and business partner, Sippro. The appearance at Paris Porte de Versailles – Pavilion 1 – is set to be the first public partnership between the two firms.

Vemotion’s CEO, Stewart McCone, pictured, said: “First and foremost, we’re delighted to be attending Expoprotection, as it brings together a wealth of sector knowledge in a territory where we are already very strong. The fact we will also be there with one of our new resellers, Sippro, makes the event even more exciting for us both, as we are expecting to be able to leverage different channels to our mutual benefit. Sippro can offer us an extra platform for growth in the French market, and we’re very keen to demonstrate some of our latest and most innovative technology applications at this show.”

Expoprotection takes place every two years in Paris and demonstrates the latest equipment in the security and surveillance sector. With an emphasis on risk prevention and management, the event covers protection of employees, premises, data and the working environment.

McCone added: “We have vast experience of the security arena in France in particular. We have worked with the Gendarmerie for the last five years in connection with the Tour de France, among other projects, and we’re always looking to expand our contact base in the region. Seeing Vemotion in action is really believing, so the more people we can show Vemotion to at events like Expoprotection, the better.”

Separately, Vemotion is to attend the Milipol exhibition, now in its 11th year; at the DECC – DOHA Qatar, from October 31 to November 2. Vemotion has provided transmission for live video during G20 Summits; D-Day commemorations; the Premier League trophy presentation; the Tour De France; and the 2014 Commonwealth games in Glasgow.
