Vandal resistant camera

by Mark Rowe

New from Vista is their new VVRD37V11HDAS vandal resistant camera. The CCTV firm says it’s their first high definition analogue camera to include Starlight technology. As a part of Vista’s analogue CCTV range the product can provide full HD 1080p resolution in TVI High Definition Analogue (HDA) format over coax cabling. The use of a varifocal lens, with a Sony CMOS sensor, means that the dome can produce quality colour images in low light, the firm says.

The set up menu can be accessed via the in-line tact switch or up the coax from a compatible digital recorder, for adjusting and commissioning. Features include Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and dual voltage 12VDC and 24VAC operation.

Kramar Donachie, Vista Product Manager, says: “The VVRD37V11HDAS is a great addition to our analogue range and offers brilliant image quality in ultra low light conditions. We are happy to have a camera on board that supports this technology in HDA format.”
