Supply agreement with Redvision

by Mark Rowe

The Security Buying Group has added the Redvision X-Series of PTZ domes to its portfolio.

Security Buying Group has a new supply agreement with Redvision, manufacturer of the X-Series PTZ dome cameras. Project-based Security Buying Group is the UK distributor of Aimetis video management and analytics software and the UK agent for Grundig.

“Redvision designs, makes and supports its products in the UK,” said Paul Scott, technical manager at the Security Buying Group. “The X-Series PTZ dome cameras offer outstanding performance. Their ultra-efficient IR and white light, night-time technology solutions suit applications from town centres, education, leisure, construction and public sector to specialist marine and tough industrial sites – all of which we are involved in.”

The X-Series cameras are modular with a range of zoom and night-time lighting options. The makers add that they operate in a range of challenging lighting and come in a large range of finishes to meet site and architectural demands – including a marine finish option for corrosive, coastal sites. The products use energy saving lighting to meet the low energy, green requirements of local government applications where total cost of ownership is critical.

“We select partners that offer unique, high quality products and services which compliment our system design and project work. Redvision is based in the UK and provides us with manufacturer level support. We have direct access to Redvision engineers when designing systems for large, high camera count applications, driven by the Aimetis video management and analytics software. The X-Series cameras are a visually attractive, high-quality, toughened PTZ dome solution and we are pleased to add them to our portfolio.”
