Midwich-DM partner

by msecadm4921

The distributor Midwich Security has announced that it has a partnership with Dedicated Micros (DM). While neither firm mentioned distributor Norbain in their statement, this news comes after DM on Tuesday, July 3 said that it regarded all contractual warranties given by DM to Norbain to have ceased; and the company advised buyers of DM product from Norbain to contact DM direct for advice on warranty. That came the day after Norbain on the Monday, July 2, announced its pre-pack move into and out of administration, being bought by distributors Newbury Investments

Midwich Security are part of the Midwich group of technology distributors.

Pauline Norstrom, group director/marketing director of AD Group and Dedicated Micros says: “We chose Midwich Security as a strategic partner due to their excellent reputation and successful track record of offering value-add solutions to the trade. Both brands are synonymous with a focus on quality and best fit for the application rather than lowest price, resulting in video surveillance solutions which offer an IP video upgrade path for users and a lower cost of ownership.”

And Mark Thomas, Director, Midwich Security says: “The value-add principles, commitment to the IPCCTV market place and stability of the Midwich group has been recognised by DM as the ideal partnership to fully support the migration from analogue to IP products. We recognise DM as a market leader and prestigious strategic partner and look forward to supporting DM customers both existing and new.”

DM add that installers should look out for further announcements about special introductory promotions and new products coming to market in the next few weeks and months. For further information about Dedicated Micros and AD Group visit the web site at www.dedicatedmicros.com or www.ad-group.co.uk. DM add that their Closed IPTV works with a range of Dedicated Micros products that installers will be familiar with, but installers may be unaware that the SD Advanced, DVR-NVR is capable of becoming Closed IPTV enabled and as a result a plug and play, HD IP camera recording, embedded management and display product; which can be scaled up to any size using DM’s IP cameras with integrated camera recording.
