COP hails growth

by Mark Rowe

The ‘trade only’ CCTV security products distributor, COP Security, has announced significant growth on sales over the last 12 months.

The distributor’s attributed it to solid growth in its UK customer base and the company’s ability to supply the right package of product at competitive prices. COP adds that it has taken great efforts to expand and deliver its mix of product functionality, specification and price.

New COP products released within the last 12 months include fully updated Express and IRLAB analogue ranges, new HD-SDI products and Inspire Black DVR. Recently, product performance upgrades have included the deployment of Western Digital’s new surveillance class Purple hard drives – fitted as standard to all COP DVRs.

Along with its product offering, COP says that it’s added new members of staff, mainly within sales, manufacturing and warehouse. COP says will continue to add new products including a selection of Inspire HD-SDI DVR’s, a full IP surveillance range and new brands like ‘Connexx’, a new line of fixed cable and radio link video transmission solutions.

Gareth Rhodes, COP Security’s Sales and Marketing Team Leader says: “COP is always striving to be more than just a distributor. Featuring a comprehensive range of over 800 high-quality CCTV products, competitively priced and 99.9 per cent available ex-stock, we support our installer customers with everything needed to complete a CCTV installation. And every single item purchased is covered at no extra cost with our comprehensive Advantage Plus service and support care package.

“There’s no doubt that we’ve managed to retain a large proportion of customers through our consistently excellent customer service, stock holding and warranties. Underlining this high level of customer support, for a second year running, we are very proud to have been nominated as a finalist for a ‘Distributor of the Year 2014’ award. Along with seeing us attending more security exhibitions, we’re looking forward to sustaining our significant sales growth over the coming year.”
