Added cameras

by Mark Rowe

Luminite have added the X-Series of ruggedized PTZ and dome cameras to their range. The firm says the series, weather proof to IP67 standard, is for use in challenging conditions, including wet and marine applications.

The range includes 18x, 28x and 36x colour and colour / mono (true day / night) options. Infra-red (IR) and white-light LED lighting is for in poor lighting conditions and darkness, with the benefit of low energy consumption. The products also feature flat glass window, with wiper, and a wide range of mounts, brackets and paint colour finishes.

When mounted in the ‘upright’ position the arms can be cantilevered forward 15 degrees so that the camera to look down beyond the base of the tower, eliminating any potential blind spots.

Fully compatible with the company’s Genesis detectors, Luminite adds that it now offers a full security detection package taking in passive-infra-red (PIR) detectors, hard wired and wireless, active infra-red beams and now, security cameras. Luminite’s IP allows full integration with partner products including Immix, Milestone, HeiTel and others.
